GNUpure is a stable platform from which to run all virtual machine environments included in linux-libre. Its goals are to make it:

• Easy to use the latest linux-libre, so you can use the most advanced device drivers that don't require binary blobs, and the most recent versions of kvm and lxc.
• Easy to create virtual machines to hack on other Libre GNU/Linux Distributions
• Easy to contribute to; a model of a code.autonomo.us project.

GNUpure provides the minimal amount of free software needed to meet these goals.

There are seperate projects to provide more utilities, mobile, and security software.
